Mars? Seriously? With artificial live support almost any (even the moon) can be.

comment Why is liquid water considered a requirement for life?
I'm okay with that. What I said is 'for now' is just what we know. All our premise is based on our observation of the surrounding world. As we are talking about the universe, may have things we do not know yet. But you're right, lets keep talking about what we know or soon we will philosophising about spiritual and digital life.

.living matter, while not eluding the "laws of physics" as established up to date, is likely to involve "other laws of physics" hitherto unknown, which however, once they have been revealed, will form just as integral a part of science as the former. We may have life without water, just only don't know at this moment how that can be. Not implies in affirm that does not exist.

comment If oxygen was abundant in Neptune, would there be combustion?
I think we need a good temperature level. Iced gasoline will not burn too.

Alniyat is a good example what you said. It's Tau Sco AND Sigma Sco.

Understood. You're right. Please put it as an answer because I think consistent enough to be considered an answer.

The Wikipedia list is what I'm looking for. I want to find Alniyat and not Tau Sco, for example.

Yeap. Their names are still 'scientifics' and some cases even doesn't exists. HYG Database uses Hipparcos data.
