comment Astronomy questions I wondered for hours
Hi, As currently worded this is a very religion heavy question which isn't really fit for our site. If you have a specific astronomy related question please feel free to ask it in a new question. Thanks, Rhys

comment Aren't there more naked-eye-visible stars in the Milky Way plane?
Hi @agtoever and welcome to the site! As a site we would benefit more if you could summarise, in your own words, what external sites have to say on the topic, the problem with linking outwards and not explaining further in the answer is that if the external page changes, or dissipears then the answer is no longer useful! Hope you understand, Rhys

comment Why can't I see Mars clearly?
@CraigBob I converted this to a comment as answers should be restricted to just that, answering the question. As for where you guys might want to talk further Astronomy Chat may be the best place, we dont have a PM system on stack exchange sites. It does require 50 rep to get into the chat room however

comment Why don't planets and asteroids have (cometary) tails?
On review, seems i turned it in to 'not a sentence' anyway, quickly applied another edit, apologies for that, in either case, the addition of sources would still increase the usefulness of this as an answer. Thanks again

comment Why do Jovian moons fade when transiting Jupiter's shadow?
Hey there and thanks for the answer, it's great you've provided some sources for this but would you be able to link to any others for the umbra/preumbra information? Wikipedia is rather subject to change, not to mention that article itself has only 2 sources, one of which is broken! Thanks in advance

comment Why don't planets and asteroids have (cometary) tails?
Hi, i made a few simple edits just to make it a little easier to read, hope you dont mind. Do you have any sources to back up your answer? for example where does the information for all of steps 1 through 4 come from? If you can provide sources then this answer becomes much much better. Thanks in advance!
