I recently downloaded the isochrones environment for Python, and I installed pymultinest for sure, but when I import it in Jupyter Notebook it always says 'ERROR:root:Internal Python error in the inspect module.' and 'problem: Could not find module 'libmultinest.dll' (or one of its dependencies).'

I don't encounter problems like this with other libraries that I downloaded. Could anyone help me out here? Also, what's the best way to make cmd with coding?

  • $\begingroup$ A quick google search of "libmultinest" finds several possibilities. I think it's better if you check some of them and see what you can find. Just for example github.com/JohannesBuchner/PyMultiNest/issues/114 The documentation for isochrones (I've added the link to your question) says "It is highly recommended to install MultiNest/PyMultiNest for model fitting. First, install/build multinest with..." followed by some steps to take. Have you done these? Were they successful? $\endgroup$
