Does Venus have much more carbon than Earth?
@PeterErwin You must also take into account carbonate rocks, that are not organic but also generated by lifeforms, from the remains of shells and exoskeletons. Probably most carbon fixated by organisms ended as carbonates.

How significant and accessible is modern Chinese astronomy?
Is there a policy for open raw data in China, similar to what NASA does on lots of data gathered by its instruments? Or only the finished papers are published?
